December 1, 2016 Sheridan Inn

The inn was far more impressive than I expected it to be when I booked my trip. Upon arrival I was met with a kind and very helpful staff. The rooms were spotless and the beds were top notch. Very comfortable and that's even with having had multiple back surgeries in the past. The inn was updated to modern standards but only so far as to make the place comfortable without detracting from the history the building was full of. Comfortable, friendly, historically rich atmosphere. I cannot wait to stop by for a visit on my next trip north west. Simply a beautiful place I could easily see used for destination weddings or small events.

The hotel was wonderful and the staff was so helpful. I could not believe the great condition of the old historic hotel. I had a great time in my stay at the hotel and could not have ask for any better get away.

Fantastic historical hotel. Do yourself a favor and get away from the chains on the highway and stop off near downtown to this gem. Recently renovated and is a treat. Immaculate on the inside with lots of attention to detail. Preserved a lot of the historical elements. Sat down and talked with the owners who refurbished the place and they’re great people who enjoy sharing the history of the place with everyone today.

Very warm welcome with friendly & helpful staff. The rooms were lovely; good bathroom with shower (Queen Victoria) & a large comfortable bed. The view was not brilliant. The breakfast was very basic at the moment but adequate. Worth staying there for the history & hidden gems.
