Sheridan Heritage Center
The Sheridan Heritage Center's mission is to preserve the uniqueness of Sheridan through the acquisition, preservation and interpretation of the historic properties in Sheridan County.
In December 1990, the Sheridan Inn was acquired by the Sheridan Heritage Center, Inc. (SHC) a non-profit organization whose mission is the preservation and interpretation of historic properties in the Sheridan area.
In 2006 toward that goal, and with a desire to save The Historic Sheridan Inn, whose condition had deteriorated to the degree that it was in the early stages of accelerated collapse and would no longer be habitable in two years, the SHC hired an historic architectural consultant and began fund raising to "Restore the Inn".
The Sheridan Heritage Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax deductible.
